Tempted to import a New 3DS (non-XL) for those sick cover plates but still want to play your U.S./European copies of games on the system? Cell9 has put out a new custom firmware release called NTR CFW 2.0 that lets you do just that!
Keep in mind that this does not support piracy (or homebrew for that matter) at all — it will only load retail cartridges. And while you will lose access to the Japanese eShop, NTR CFW 2.0 does offer a custom menu that lets you take in-game screenshots and use plug-ins.
NTR CFW 2.0 currently only supports Japanese New 3DSes with firmware versions 8.1.0/9.1.0/9.2.0, and you’ll need an import copy of Cubic Ninja to get it working. Cell9 mentions that support for the original 3DS and other regions are planned too. While the number of people who can take advantage of NTR CFW in its current form is very small, I’ve been waiting for this exact thing to get more use out of my imported and kawaii New 3DS for months!

Well, here’s the answer to that question, straight from the Happy Mask Salesman! This comes from an interview with the Majora’s Mask character conducted on Miiverse last week. It’s a very creepy Q&A..
